Overview

The Sunset Jet Boat Tour adventure begins at the Canyonlands by Night and Day riverside location (click for a map) two miles north of Moab, just north of the Colorado River. Once you board the boat you’ll be whisked away into a different world, filled with beautiful red rock cliffs above. While you’re on the trip your guide will explain a little about the geology and the history of the Canyonlands area. Forty-five minutes down river provides the turnaround spot and then you’ll travel back up river for the return trip to where dinner is served. The sunset jet boat travels approximately 36 miles round trip while on the water. The jet boat portion takes an hour and a half, with dinner lasting an hour, for the total time of 2.5 hours. The tour departure varies with the sunset.
